I understand that convenience and accessibility are important. Teletherapy services allow you to receive the support you need from the comfort of your home. My secure and confidential video sessions make it easier to fit therapy into your busy life. (However, I do not provide in-person sessions at this time.)

Yes, therapy is confidential. Therapists are bound by ethical guidelines and legal requirements to protect your privacy. Exceptions are made only if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

A typical therapy session usually lasts around 50 minutes.

The number of sessions needed varies depending on individual circumstances and goals. Some issues may be resolved in a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy. The frequency and duration of sessions will be discussed and tailored to your needs in collaboration with your therapist.

During your first session, we will ask about your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. This helps establish a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. To prepare, consider what you want to achieve in therapy and any specific issues you want to discuss. It can also be helpful to write down your thoughts and questions.

For self-pay clients, the rate for the initial session is $185; this session is typically around 90 minutes. After the initial meeting, the rate is $150 per session. I am currently in-network with Cigna and Aetna. I am unable to bill any other insurance companies at this time, but can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.
We believe everyone should have access to mental health services, regardless of their financial situation. If you have concerns about affordability, please discuss them with us.
